Tour to Peru: Nazca Lines and Ballestas Islands

ABOUT THIS TOUR

The Naza lines are ancient geoglyphs, designs ranging from simple lines to monkeys and fish, made in the ground by the people of the Nazca desert between 400-650 AD. They can only be seen from the air and on this tour you will take a plain to fly over and see them!

The second part of this tour takes you to the Ballestas Islands, Peru’s Galapagos, where you can see sea birds and seals on a boat tour.

DETAILED PROGRAM

DAY 1: LIMA – NAZCA

Transfer from hotel at dawn by private tourist service transport to visit the Nazca Lines, situated 420 kms. to the south of Lima. Accommodation at selected hotel.

DAY 2: NAZCA – PARACAS

At convenient time, transfer to Nazca Airport for your over-flight to admire the mysterious and much debated Nazca drawings. The enormous drawings of animals, people and birds etched in the desert plains are visible only from the air.

Private transfer from Nazca to Paracas. Overnight.

DAY 3: PARACAS – LIMA

A fascinating tour by boat to the Ballestas Island which is one of the most important natural reserves in the Coast of Peru. Return to Lima in the afternoon. Transfer to the hotel.
