The region of “El Ocote” is located in Chiapas, Mexico. This region is important for its biological diversity: amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals live here; of which 103 species are considered rare. El Ocote is the most important site of jungle and fauna in North America.




Reception at the airport of Tuxtla Gutierrez and transport to the La Venta Canyon to visit the Cascade of Aguacero. For this visit it is necessary to climb 624 steps. There will be 4 hours to walk and swim inside the canyon. Afterwards, you will walk to the desin or trench of the parrots and after lunch you will walk by the vegetation and the cave paintings from inside. Free time. Dinner and overnight in the local cabins.

DAY 02

Transport to the town of Apic Pac, where you will ride in a speedboat to visit the cascade of Santa Cruz, to walk 400 meters. Afterwards, you will continue towards “lajas”, where you will walk by a series of cascades with the possibility of taking a bath. Then you will visit the cave of the parrots (700 meters), where you will ride on the boat to see the rock formations. If the level of the water is low it is possible to walk by the caves. Lunch at this place and finally you will return to the community. Dinner an overnight.

After breakfast, you will go to the bridge of Chiapas where you will ride in a speedboat towards the dams. Upon arrival, you will walk by the cave of 400 meters with a torch. Finally you will continue towards the community of La Lucha where you will setup the tents. Overnight.

Included meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.


This day you will walk and explore some rock formations, vegetation and fauna. Afterwards, you will ride in a speedboat to explore the river which has amazing walls of limestones. At the appropriate time, you will return to the community. Overnight.

Included meals: Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner.



After breakfast, there will be free time to enjoy the place. Afterwards, you will ride on a speedboat towards the bridge of Chiapas. After lunch, you will return to the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, passing by the jungle of ocotes.
