Northern Mexico is crossed by the so-called world wine strip. In this area, next to USA, in the state of Baja California, you will find the most traditional wine of Mexico. This tour visits the old and new vine arbors which produce the best wines of Mexico. Do not miss the chance to learn about the process, bottling and tasting of Mexican wine.
DAY 01: TIJUANA – ENSENADA
Reception at the airport of Tijuana, assistance and transport to the hotel. You will visit the Museum of Las Californias in the Cultural Center of Tijuana. The objective of the museum is to spread the history of the peninsula and generate an open space of meditation about the identity of its habitants. It stores around 1000 pieces (350 in exhibition) which represent the regional history of the region. It consists of 8 permanent rooms: California before California; First European explorers; Missions and missionaries; territories and frontiers; the Porfiriato; the Mexican revolution; the post-revolution years; and about the environment. This gives a general introduction about the region and the elemental history of it. You will also visit cellar of L. A. Cetto in Tijuana, a tradition of the Cetto family for 3 generations since 1928. Time to eat (not included) in Rosarito or Ensenada. Finally, transport to the hotel.
DAY 02: ENSENADA – ANCIENT EXCURSION OF THE WINE ROUTE OF SANTO TOMAS
You will visit the workshop of red wines, with a walk through the vineyards and the opportunity to taste wines. At Ensenada you will find a variety of grapes which are used to produce Grenache, Malbec, Merlot, Barberam, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Chardonnay and Syrah, among others. Free time to eat in the Valley of Santo Tomas (not included). Lodging at the hotel.

DAY 03: ENSENADA – EXCURSION TO THE NEW WINE ROUTE
You will visit the area of vineyards where you will stop a two of them. You will have the opportunity of tasting the wines and other regional products. You will learn the process of elaboration of Mexican wines. You will also learn about other products like cheese, breads, jams and olives.

DAY 04: ENSENADA – VISIT TO VINICULTURE HOUSES
You will visit the viniculture houses with the opportunity to taste the cheeses of San Antonio de Las Minas, which can be combined with different wines. Finally, transport to your hotel.
DAY 05: ENSENADA
Panoramic visit to the historical buildings of Ensenada. Free time for shopping and visiting Puerto Nuevo, famous for its lobster with beans and rice.
Transport to the airport to fly to country of origin or to a wonderful Mexican beach.
