Terms & Conditions

  1. Securing your Trip
To secure booking a trip with MPS Journey, the Client must make an initial deposit of 30% of the total package value. Some services, such as flights (domestic and international), boats or cruises may be subjected to a special deposit policy. The initial deposit is non-refundable. The contract between MPS Journey and the Client will become definite from the date the initial deposit has been confirmed.

  2. Payments
The payment of the amount due must be concluded by the Client 45 days prior to the departure of the trip. Some services, such as boats and cruises, may be subjected to a different payment policy.

For bookings made within 45 days of departure, the full amount of package price will be required to secure the trip.

Bookings made within 10 days of departure will have a late booking fee of $100 (per group, not per person).

  3. Changes by the Client
Any change in the itinerary made by the Client after the Final Travel Program has been confirmed, will incur in a $50 change fee (per group, not per person). Changes from the Client may also incur in extra charges from our operators and/or suppliers. We will of course try our every effort to accept any changes, as these are subjected to availability.

  4. Cancellation by the Client
Cancellations made by the Client must be informed to MPS Journey by writing. Initial deposits are non-refundable and some services such as flights, Inca Trail, Boats and Cruises might also be non-refundable due to operators’ and suppliers’ policies. All remaining reservations cancelled will be charged a cancellation fee, as follows:
45-11 days prior to the departure: 50%
10 days or less prior to the departure: 100%

  5. Changes by MPS Journey
While MPS Journey will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised, by entering into this contract the Client accepts that it may prove necessary or advisable to vary or modify a program or its contents due to prevailing local conditions. MPS Journey reserves the right at any time to cancel or change any of the facilities, services or prices and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value and accepts no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes.

If a major change becomes necessary before, during or after booking, MPS Journey will inform the Client as soon as reasonably possible.

When a major change is made, the Client will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing any other available tour or canceling the tour and obtaining a full refund. This is providing that the major change is not because of force majeure.

Force majeure is war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activities, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by cancellation or rescheduling of flights by an airline, the alteration of airline or aircraft type, or other similar events beyond the control of MPS.

MPS is not liable for any charges in the event of a change – beyond their control – to the departure time or date of a tour, flight or other form of transport.

We will do ALL possible to readjust the Client’s trip, otherwise we will return all that has not already been spent.

  6. Passport, Visas, Vaccinations and Permits
It is the Client’s responsibility to have a valid passport, visa and vaccinations (in case needed) and any other permit required by the local authorities. The MPS Journey team will certainly assist the Client in these matters to their best, but without taking any responsibility.
