DAY 2:

Breakfast. Excursion to the  Perito Moreno Glacier which is 80 kilometers from the city of Calafate. The scenery is dry, typical of the patagonic steppe. We will stop at key points to take pictures of the diverse wild life: guanacos, ostriches, foxes, piches, flamingos, eagles, moras and condors. The vegetation will begin to change. The grassland scenery will become that of the patagonic woods as we get close to the glacier, where we will observe a great variety of plants such as: ñires, lengas, cipreses, notros, etc. In the natural viewpoint of this glaciar, we will have time to travel through a system of wood footbridges. The guide will provide an explanation in front of the Glacier of the “rupture” phenomenon which makes this glacier unique in the world. After that, we will have free time to enjoy the different panoramic views. Approximately at 16:00 hrs. will begin return to El Calafate arriving at around  17:30 hrs

DAY 3:

Breakfast. Excursion during the day to the Glaciers Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzinni. Will travel for 45 Km. Down the route Provincial N° 11 arriving at the Port of Punta Bandera. From there, the vessel will take us to the most important glaciers of the North side of the Argentinian Lake.

After navigating for two hours we will arrive to the Upsala Glacier, the biggest of South America. It is 50 km long and 10 km wide. We will be able to see the biggest blocks of ice that are breaking off and which in many occasions exceed 80 meters of height.

Continue navigating towards Onelli Bay, where we will disembark and begin a short walk of 1500 meters in the Andean woods arriving to the  Onelli Lagoon where the Agassiz, Bolado y Onelli glaciers converge.

Return to the port at around 17:00 hrs. In the event of not being able to enter the Onelli Bay due to the ice blocks that float on this part of the lake, the guide will determine whether to continue or not with the visit to the Spegazzinni Glacier, which is impossing because of its high walls.
