Tour to Chile: Easter Island, A Mistery of the Pacific Ocean

ABOUT THE TOUR

Easter Island, or Rapa Nui in the native language, lies upon a huge submarine platform that originated after the successive eruptions of three volcanoes. These volcanoes are the vertices of the island’s triangular form, which occupies and area of 180 km2.
The strategic position of the island turns it into a main connection point and an entrance for the countries of the East Pacific. It is also an important center for climatic, oceanic and other scientific investigations.  Myth and reality are merged in Rapa Nui, an archaeological treasure of mankind.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS TOUR

  • Buy local arts and crafts in Hanga Roa’s market
  • Enjoy a boat cruise to Easter Islands three little islets; Motu Kao Kao, Motu Iti,  and Motu Nui
  • See the ancient cave drawings in the Ana Kai Tangata cave
  • Visit the volcano Rano Kau; now extinct!
